This past father's Day we finally committed to a church in our home town. We have officially become members of the Methodist Church of Dacula. This has not been an easy task as we grew up differently and most of the population down here is baptist. Dave and I and the kids have been to Hebron Baptist, and Greater Atlanta Christian. Both of which we enjoyed but there was always something missing. We made great friends at both and for that we are grateful. Dave grew up in a First Congregational and I catholic. So we had quite a traditional up bringing!! But here we are Methodist...Christopher starts confirmation classes tonight. There is a new minister at this church and he is young and very animated. He has a young family and hopefully will be sticking around for a while. We have enjoyed the past weeks there and hope to enjoy a lifetime there as well.
